Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The steers were mustered with young children (supervised) on horses & dogs walking in exceptionally controlled & quiet. They were very quiet to handle through the yards when drafted & the second time when assessed. A small number were quicker or agitated when isolated or through the race & crush yet settled well when back in the mob. Broken to dogs, horses & overall are very well educated. As seen in the video they walk through gates very calmly & without urgency.

Assessor Comments
Very good quality quiet steers HGP free. #1 & #2 branded. Brahman, Brahman cross, Charbray, Angus/Brangus & Droughtmaster cross steers ideal backgrounding steers with very good frame, heavy bone and potential to add a great deal of weight to their frame. Grey, Red and Brahman crosses with higher content, Charbray, Brangus, D/M, Brindles & Angus crosses with low to minimal content if any. 1 steer with a soft slightly larger purse & a small number with light fly irritation. Note the steers have been pre treated to assist with delivery tick clearing regulations if going to clean country - no previous clearing issues have been noted (yet no guarantee).
