Steers worked very well through a good set of yards considering they are fresh weaners. There was only a small amount of bellow considering they were straight off Mum, suggesting that the heavier end may have already been weaned by the cow.

Assessor Comments
This is the lead run of the Vendor steer portion of weaners. They have been enjoying a good season and have the weight and frame to be ideally suited for an oats crop to take through to heavy feeders or kill. Please note, 1 steer does have a cloudy eye and another one was noticed to have some hair loss around his eye, possibly ring worm. There are 2 brindles in this mob and 6 Brahmans, which are good quality and soft steers. Vendor has 1 other lot of lighter steers and 2 lots of heifers in the same sale.
