When drafting prior to assessment, these heifers were definitely looking for the gate out of the yard and did tend to rush a little away from strangers, however, in the race and on the scale they were quite good, and once back with their mates were settled for photos. They are unweaned, and used to big paddocks, and will need a weaning regime.

Assessor Comments
These heifers, and their 29 brothers in the same catalogue, look much better than we had anticipated, considering their paddocks were inundated in the recent floods. Medium to large frame, in strong forward condition, these heifers are ideal cattle to go on with and take advantage of the vigour inherent in their cross. The Limousin influence has given good shape to many of the calves, only one or two are showing a more Angus type, and may be out of bought in pregnant cows. Only one heifer is described as dehorned, there may be more, but they are so well done it is hard to tell. One heifer has a spot on the eye shown in the photos, she has been treated.
