Fresh Weaners only removed from cows 2 weeks. They have had no truck ride as yet. Weaners are fit to travel up to 1200 km from Georgetown in one lift. A 12 hour spell is recommended at 800 km if travelling further then 1200 km in one lift. Weaners are in store condition & strong. Best transport practices encouraged.

Weaners are fresh, only removed from cows 2 week proir to assessment. As a group in the yards tended to be calm apart from being led by one or two that are anxious from weaning. Individually in crush handled well under close pressure. Good to handle in yards pound draft. They did not bounce off rails. Generally mob has a good temperament as they settled down quickly after pressure of handling, catching & weighing. In the paddock cows & weaners are well handled. Some more weaner training required

Heifer stockers take note! Well muscled, good quality line of Brahman weaner heifers & 28 X breds, that are breeder quality. 50% polled. Weaned for 2 weeks by time of delivery, these heifers are healthy and ready to perform on quality pasture. 1 x 4 deck lot all just weaned off cows. Age brand #1. Sample mouthed where all milk tooth. From 140kg to 272kg. 75 % of mob 160kg to 230kg. Over 10 years of brahman breeding using good quality brahman & charbray sires. Bred from a herd of high quality, vendor bred brahman cows, traditionally producing medium to large Frame heifers with strong bone & confirmation. Colours including 61% grey, 10% honey, 20% red, 9% black/brindle. 15% charbray in mob. 1 brands in lot, all vendor bred. Mothers generally good Quiet temperament. Brahman flight zone needs to be respected as they are responsive to pressure at this early stage of weaner training. Excellent quiet natured temperament. Approximately 30 cleanskin-full ear heifers in this mob. A classy line
