Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Mustered in a large mob of approx. 500 to a relatively small set of portables in a congested environment yet very well and expertly handled with very good stockmanship the steers flowed through the race and crush well. A very small number could potentially become agitated if they were to be isolated. Steers settled well when returned to the mob. Cattle were turned out directly after assessment with bikes and left the yard quietly.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a good to very good quality line of ORGANIC USDA, NOP and GAP certified steers that will suit all export feeder and/or organic programs. These steers presented in mainly store to forward store condition so as a result I would expect plenty of compensatory gain given the right feed conditions. We are receiving very positive feedback from major feedlots in relation to the performance on grain. Very quiet to handle when being yarded and also on exit from the yards. Note there are 477 head from Terrick in this sale, all 1 brand. All up there are 5 lots in the sale.
