Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers handled well through all areas of the yards but did require some steadying through gateways. In the crush they stood well while being weighed and back lined. A small number did become slightly stirry while being mouthed but settled quickly once the pressure was removed. Cattle should be allowed to adjust to their new environment before being let out into the paddock.

Assessor Comments
A deck lot of well conditioned heifers that would suit feeding or breeders. These heifers show good breed characteristics and are well grown with plenty of frame. Though the have been put together as weaners from the Gracemere saleyards, they are a consistent mob and would suit a number of markets. These heifers would lend themselves to integrating into an existing breeder herd, someone starting out, or looking to expand their herd. Being in good condition they would also suit a trade article for someone looking to capitalize on excess feed.
