Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Weaners have had an interrupted weaning and probably haven’t quite settled down as well as usual. They are not totally yard savvy just yet so odd one is easily spooked and most will always follow the ring leaders. Nothing that could be described as aggressive in the mob in the bigger yards, they do tend to gallop around in the bigger yards if not blocked up. They need to be steadied down through a gateway, not unusual.

Assessor Comments
The Consuelo EU ACCREDITED and PCAS ELIGIBLE Santa lightweight backgrounder heifers that have developed a great reputation. Have been offered on A+ for the past 8-9 years and have always attracted plenty of repeat buyers who have commented on the great performance these heifers deliver them both for feeding and breeding. Considering the amount of rain on them they have come through the weaning process and presented very well. They carry minimal condition and have the potential to grow out and gain weight quite quickly on good feed. There are a few with old fly rub scars, also the usual few with some white on them (either a patch or underline). They are an ideal article for restockers to put away to make domestic feeders off the crop towards the end of the year or retain for a breeding operation. Clean country buyers note they are offered GUARANTEED CLEAR of the dip.
