Steers were good to handle at assessment, showed normal young cattle tendencies and tend to become agitated under pressure of the confines of the race and crush system but settled well when returned to the mob. Steers needed some slowing the gateways in the big yards.

Buyers, on offer, 89 top quality Angus x Angus Backgrounder steers. These steers show all the attributes to grow out to either top quality feeders or bullocks. Steers show ample growth, bone and muscle pattern and are packed full of top quality genetics. Steers are expected to perform very well whether that be on grass, grain or crop. Buyers, please note that one steer presents with old blue eye scarring but was not deemed detrimental. Buy with confidence. An opportunity to target the premium Angus market.
