These steers worked through the yards and drafted well. These cattle are well handled and a pleasure to work. There are two steers that stirred up under pressure but settled in the mob again after processing.

A quality run of 64 backgrounder steers on offer. These steers are all vendor bred on lighter coastal country and are renowned for their doing ability. They are all sired by quality Santa sires purchased from some of the leading Santa studs such as Yugilbar, Dunlop, Welbatch and Cooinda. Previous purchasers of these cattle all comment on how well educated the cattle are and the doing ability of the steers after being bred on lighter coastal country. These steers are showing plenty of frame and are on the move, ready to put on the kilos. A few of the steers have a few marks from buffalo fly on them. The vendor has agreed to deliver the steers to Toogoolawah saleyards and guarantees them clear of the dip.
