Heifers are well handled and all worked very well through race draft in yards, and settled down quickly once out in big yard. They were a pleasure to work both in the crush and yards.

Assessor Comments
160 heifers that at assessment ranged from 174-293 kg and averaged 230 kg. Since weaning these heifers have been running on red spinifex country that had dried out and so they had done nothing for many months. The paddock did receive 70mm of rain recently and these heifers have just started to do very well, so are ready to bound ahead. Of the 142 Brahman Heifers there is approximately 97 greys, 26 red and honey and 16 black and brindle. There is 1 heifer with a white face and 1 heifer has small warts on her neck. About 33% of the dehorned heifers have some horn regrowth and may require trimming in the future. Their temperament is very good and they have been well handled. There is 3 family brands in the mob. These heifers would ideally be suited to grow into small to medium framed low maintenance very fertile breeders, or live export feeder heifers. The heifers are located in tick area and if going to tick free country, they will be cleared of tick on property at vendors expense.
