Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers worked well through portable panel yards at assessment, the yards were not designed the best and quite noisy. A very small number were prone to panic a bit in the race and head bale, but settled down on their release. There are 4 steers that have a larger flight zone and are prone to be a bit quicker under pressure. Please see video.

Assessor Comments
A vendor bred line of good to very good quality Angus and Angus weaned steers. Conditions were dry at the time of weaning in September 2023, although the vendor has since received good rain and the steers have been grazing on good feed since November 2023, moving forward well. These steers present in good store condition, and are suitable for backgrounding out to domestic or export feeder weights or take through to kill weights with a good percentage being able to do an Angus X Angus job. All notable traits have been photographed. Please note vendor also have a line of weaned heifers in the same sale as well.
