These steers were easy to handle and worked well through a basic yard setup. They are free moving will flow quickly through an open gateway. 3 head were a little more flighty in the yards and became agitated whilst mouthing in crush.

Assessor Comments
Buyers an excellent oppurtunity to secure a line of Santa & Santa/Hereford X USDA-NOP certified steers. These steers are all frame and presenting in store condition, have heaps of room to keep moving forward. Steers weighed 306-409kgs to avg 353kgs, after an overnight curfew. 7 steers mouthed as 2 teeth are all in the lead of the mob weighing over 380kgs at assessment. They would be ideal steers to take to heavier weights on either feed or crop & suitable for many end markets. One steer descibed as dehorned does have horn regrowth. Vendor also has a line of heifers in the same sale.
