Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers are generally pretty placid in the bigger yards and easily to move around from yard to yard. Also no problems in the force but there were a few that did resent people being in their flight zone in the round yard and some were fidgety in the crush on the weigh platform. Vendor did comment that they are very easy to muster on a quad with dogs and walked into the yards without any fuss. These are just typical weaners that will require to be settled down by the purchaser after receival.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, just a few heavier EU ACCREDITED heifers that were taken out of the lighter line to tighten up the weigh ranges up in the main line of lighter heifers. These have been in hand since weaning a few weeks ago and subsequently transported to Moura. As a result, it is expected these would fly ahead on some good quality pastures so expect good compensatory gains. This lot of heifers contains about two that do show higher Bos content and subsequently some hump (please see video/photos), balance are considered 'flatbacks'. Would suit a restocker to put away, forget about them, and watch them grow into a domestic feeder article. There are also a further 86 lighter heifers that can be put with these, debatable whether they would all fit on a double so maybe a light B-Double is a better option if consideration is given to buying both lots. Buyers in tick free areas should take comfort these are GUARANTEED CLEAR OF THE DIP.
