These heifers were a pleasure to work through the yards, calm and sensible. They worked very well through a noisy, moving portable panel yard that they had not been in before.

Buyers here is a good run of very quiet, well handled, soft, organic, mostly british/euro, properly weaned heifers presenting in store condition. No heifers have been retained, making the lead draft of these heifers suitable for replacement breeders. All the hard work has been done on these heifers and it is expected that they would bound ahead on good feed. Vendor blanket weaned these heifers, weaning down to aprox 110kg and as a result there is 4 smaller and younger heifers that could only be described as poddy looking. 10 weaners were noted to have a varying amount of hair loss around, brisket, neck and shoulders, suspected to be lice, being Organic they have had no chemical treatments. 1 heifer has what appears to be ring worm around her eye, one heifer has a blue spot in her eye, and 1 heifer has a few small warts around her eye, none of these would be detrimental. Please note Vendor has 3 other lots of heifers in the same sale and 4 lots of steers.
