Heifers were excellent to handle through the yards and crush. A small % were stirry when forced but in typical Brahman fashion, as the pressure was released they calmed down straight away.

Assessor Comments
A total of 34 Decks of "O" Heifers being offered in 5 x 6 Decks & 1 x 4 Decks as runs out the gate. Heifers are from a high grade/ quality Red Brahman herd carrying the Meda Station "CW7" brand. Suitable for all aspects of beef production as Future breeders or for Backgrounding. They handled very well through the yards and are a credit to the Vendor. This is a terrific opportunity to purchase 1156 One Mark, quality Brahman Heifers. Please note that the cattle were mustered by air on Sunday 1st August, yarded overnight on Hay and water and were 100% weighed and fat scored the following morning. They have been turned out into a paddock with good feed that will provide ample nourishment until delivery - note the delivery dates are week after next due to Derby Rodeo. An even line of cattle with 3.4% weighing under 200 Kg. and 5.5% over 260 Kg. Buyers note that the Horn Status numbers quoted are calculated from the total mob and each run ( incl. no. of Greys ) will vary slightly.
