Weaning commenced with 75% in hand from 22.07.21 and the balance 29.07.21. Weaned to the yards with moderate handling to date they have responded very well and at assessment typical of early educated weaners with 10 keen to enter and exit the scales otherwise happy to walk off and through gates quietly and with minimal rush or steadying required.

Good quality MIXED SEX weaners from the Bendalla Santa Stud & commercial cow herd. There are 50 heifers, 2 marked steers & 64 unmarked bull weaners earlier retained as entires for the Bendalla Santa bull sale programme however now sold due to the light season. Young Santa Gertrudis mixed sex weaners that are from a very good quality high performing herd offering significant potential at a young age to run through as breeder replacements, castrate the males & grow out to background into future feeder steers or grass fed heavy weights. 3 of the dehorned bulls are cut short to the head and expected to grow out without any appearance issues whilst the balance are either dehorned very young, poll or scurred with a small number baby button horn. Overall the temperament exhibited is typical of the quiet natural nature of the Bendalla herd. 1 heavy (light double) muscled bull, 8 with minor ringworm, 1 heifer with a slight twist in the nose & 1 heifer with longer feet. 6 cleanskin / unbranded.
