Weaners were good to handle in the yards, they worked well through the crush, showed no signs of aggression but an odd weaner stirred up when placed under pressure or away from its mates. The temperament was very good considering the weaners were taken off the cows this week, loaded onto a truck and taken to the house yards to be assessed.

A good line of 143 weaner steers and 19 unmarked males presented as part of the vendors yearly turnoff. The weaners have just been taken off there mothers this week and are presently being fed in the yards, they were good to handle in the yards but have not yet been tailed out.
Weaners are bred in clean country north of Aramac running on mostly Spinifex type country, so expect to see these steers bounce away on fresh feed. PLEASE NOTE 1 steer had slight remnants of fly or lice bite on his head not of concern and 1 steer has a proud purse, possibly 1 ball left in.
