Most of these steers become slightly stirry when under to much pressure, if to much pressure is put on they become sticky and won't flow. When cattle are worked with light pressure and from the correct distance they work through the yards well, and look for an exit, this can be seen in the video. This lot were mouthed at assessment which didn't help the temperament assessment in the crush. In the paddock steers work well with correct pressure from the motorbike & show good respect to dogs.

Assessor Comments
76 weaned Brahman & Brahman cross steers ready to be taken onto heavier weights, steers present in forward store condition ready to go ahead without the set back unlike buying unweaned cattle. These steers were purchased as lightweight cattle originating from the lower Gulf area. These steers appear to be growing out well with the HGP, good feed and gaining access to a rumen productive ration for the last 5 weeks to get them on the front foot again after a tough start to life. Steers were mouthed at assessment as 100% milk tooth for your convenience. Since the introduction to the ration the steers have really started to clean up and pack the weight on, with a healthy gut and clearly on the go forward these cattle present as a good option to put on the crop and take them through to heavier weights.
