38 EU accredited ( Vet tested NDP ) Brangus & Brangus cross heifers 14 - 22 Mths, Heifers present in forward store to forward condition with an estimated delivery live weight average of 358.9 KG curfewed. Heifers have had access to good quality grey Brahman bulls for two months leading up to assessment the bulls were removed two weeks prior to assessment and pre testing. The heifers were part of a large mob that was joined for a short period of time in large rough paddocks. Twelve heifers observed with very light scaring in either one or both eyes all deemed to have good vision.
The majority of the heifers are best suited to fatten on either grass or grain with a percentage suitable for replacement breeders.
