Steers are fast flowing in yards and become agitated under pressure but handled well through a basic panel yard set up. Settled down once in bigger yards and given space.

A good quality, vendor bred, one mark line of predominantly Droughtmaster & Red Brahman cross steers. These steers would be suitable to feed or to background through to heavy kill weights. 15 of the heaviest steers were mouthed at assessment with 11x milk tooth and 4 x 2 tooth. Weighed 305-478kgs, avg 363kgs at assessment. These steers have been doing well on a good body of dry feed and are cleaning up nicely in coats with the warmer weather. A fair percentage show mild rub marks from lice and two steers have fly bites around neck. These steers are located close to a major trucking route. Vendor also has a line of heifers in the same sale.
