Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers handled around yards ok, there are few in this mob that become highly agitated, especially when pressure was applied, quickly calming when returned to mates. If you watch video, I could walk around them reasonably well. Although no physical aggression shown at least 2 had a good hard look at you in the yards. I’d recommend stockman that know what they’re doing to handle these cattle.

Assessor Comments
A run of predominantly Angus steers just right to put on the feed, be it the bin or oats. These cattle should go ahead like steam given the opportunity. They have been on agistment at Breeza for some time and has been picking up fresh clovers and medics. They are Queensland bred. Mouthed all steers at assessment and 5 have 2 Pegs up, including 1 just breaking. 9 steers have their milk teeth worn down, the remainder fresh mills. All steers have 0 fire brand on them. There is one black baldy steer (he has a lump hard lump on jaw) there are 3 at least that show slight Brangus influences and several that show some out cross other than Angus. All steers should go into supermarket jobs etc. At least 6 steers have blue eye scaring, including 2 with 2 eyes with blue eyes scaring (they’re definitely not blind). Also some steers are rubbing their hair off maybe lice, but I think they’re just shedding their winter coats. Nothing detrimental. Vendor has Charbray steers & PTE heifers also in
