Weaners freshly mustered from large flood-out paddock and steadied down very well since weaning on Monday 3rd. Walked steadily through crush for weighing for second time will continue to improve. In general very good pastoral weaners for quietness.

46 -EU Angus weaned steers showing good growth and muscle. Second round muster out of thick vegetation country. 100% weighed 259-461 average 350 kg full and only just weaned. Expect to hold weight for several days after weaning then improve. Vendor to re-weigh on delivery full less 5%. This draft represents second sale drop since restocking with good Angus Bloodlines good easy handling pastoral weaners. Steers born and raised on strong feed conditions. Note large weight range as final round of the year, all young well bred steers very thick from behind. 31 Black Baldy types , 11 Straight Blacks , 3 Hereford , 1 Smoky grey Baldy . Vendor offering 38 weaner heifers sisters same sale.

Bloodlines
Strong well bred commercial Angus blood ex Victoria. 80 % purchased as PTIC Angus Heifers in early 2020.
Grazing Conditions
Lake Torrens Sand-hill salt-bush and herbage. Last 12 months breeding cows have been running on strong green flood out type country .
Returned to: Cattle have been fully yard weaned on the 3rd May and will be fed good quality hay in cooler yard until delivery. Have settled down very well.

Second round turnoff of EU weaners since full restocking with quiet high grade Angus Females . Very happy with the way cows and weaners handled at mustering.
