Assessor Comments
Top draft of very high quality Dunoon & Rennylea Blood Autumn '23 drop Angus steers. All steers weighed 390kg+ to average 417kg full (390-488kg) at assessment to make a neat B-Double load of steers. Ideal steers to go onto feed now or grow out to heavy feeder or grassfed finished weights. Big Springs have been using Dunoon & Rennylea genetics for 30 years, with a focus on growth (400 and 600 days), IMF and grass/ grain indexes. These cattle have a very good reputation for marbling & performance and have previously been identified as one of the top 100 beef producers by M.S.A. Please note: vendor also has the middle draft of steers in this sale for a total of 174 steers being offered.
