The steers had a bit of run in them when put in the yards but we did run them straight in and start assessing. A few were a bit stirry but more wanting to get out of your road than take you on. The odd one did not want to settle but moved off quietly when let out of the yards The odd lot didn't like the crush but nothing unusual there.

Very good quality Angus steers that go back to one of the oldest Angus herds in the district. They have been weaned. Ideal feeder weight steers that are going forward and have the constitution to put on a lot of weight, they will continue to go forward on grain or grass. All the animal health treatments are up to date. The calving was a bit retracted and the weight variance is age not quality related.
