These heifers were a pleasure to handle. Moved with pressure applied and were comfortable with human presence and quiet when settled in the yards. Odd heifer was unsettled on the scales but settled for photos and a video.

Assessor Comments
Offering a b-double load of vendor bred Rennylea Angus blood NSM heifers. These heifers are well grown for age and are practical to process through the yards. They have been weighed 400-522kg full to average 430kg after 5% curfew applied. These heifers failed to conceive in the annual AI program that had a 53% success rate thus making them surplus to requirements. They have not had access to a follow up bull and would usually be sold PTIC to a natural mating. This herd was originally a Hereford herd that has transitioned to Angus from a terrific genetically sound base. Sires purchased off Rennylea include R55, P939, P327, Q1206. 100% preg tested empty for buyer convenience and will suit going to a breeding program, feedlot or present as a trade proposition. A terrific line of breeders heifers with a full bill of health. Please note vendor is offering another line of 45 British cross heifers in today’s sale.
