Steers were surprisingly & disappointingly quite stirred up during assessment. Completely calm & relaxed to walk through prior to weighing, then once pushed up the race, became quite fractious and hard to settle back down afterwards. Walk up to the ute in the paddock, tailed at weaning and regularly handled, but behaved like different cattle on assessment day unfortunately.

Steers all presented in score 2 storey condition. Have been running tough on the side of the cold Guys Forrest hills with only Kikuyu and native pastures to graze. Given this, these steers are exactly how you want to buy them, showing a lot of frame with very little meat hanging off them ready to explode forward given the opportunity. Perfect steers to give a drench and tip out on some fresh Autumn pastures and continue on as a grass fed bullock, or start on an introductory feed ration and target a Spring grain fed body. Buyers please note. 1 steer presented with a minor eye blemish, not deemed detrimental. Please see photos & video for full contentment.
