These calves are run through the yards on a regular basis, well handled cattle.

A small line of weaned Angus/Simmi x steer calves, 8 - 9 months old. Nice opportunity to secure quality calves. These steers are predominately out of Angus cows, vendor does run a few Angus/Simmi cows in a self replacing herd. These calves are by a “Leawood” Angus bull. This mob of steers handled very well through the yards while being assessed. Up to date on vaccinations and a drench 2 months ago these calves looked healthy and shiny in the coats. They are in forward store condition and would suit somebody looking to background steers or even suit a feeder job with that dash of euro through them. 1 calf with small horn butts (see photos). These calves were pulled off mum day of assessment 16/5 and then were to be left in the yards and yard weaned.
