Assessor Comments
A nice even line of September 2020 drop Angus steer weaners. Weighing from 222kg to 260kg they present very even for size and frame. They show nice growth for age and should grow into large framed cattle given the right conditions. These steers are sired by Ardrossan Angus bulls out of medium to large framed Angus cows. These steers were ok to handle, they got a little agitated when pushed in the race, but I think with a bit more handling they will be no problem at all. They have been weaned since 6/3/21 and drenched with Cattlemax Ivermectin on 6/3/21 also, and up to date on their vaccinations. These steers come my high recommendation, I think there is a lot of potential in these cattle and they are certainly very well bred. Vendor is also offering 44 heavier brothers in the same sale. Note: The odd old healed pinkeye was observed and certainly not considered detrimental.
