Hard to fault, very quiet young steers to handle throughout assessment. Easy to walk through in the yards and move up the race, and done so by a single handler. A few steers were a bit fractious in the crush, just from lack of handling/education. 1 Steer a bit upset after weighing when he realise his mum had left.

Assessor Comments
Very stylish line of well breed steers. Carrying the very good Alpine Angus & Rennylea genetics. These are steers with the shape & scope to take on and target any market, domestic or export. Length, depth, frame & shape is all there and ready to be taken advantage of - but these steers carry a real emphasis on softness. These steers have a real ‘easy doing’ style about them and will bounce ahead having been weaned at assessment. 100% Grass fed, antibiotic free. All boxes ticked. Cattle that won’t disappoint. Please see photos & video for full contentment. Note 1 steer cleaning up from a touch of ring worm, not deemed detrimental.
