A terrific line of Angus weaner steers offered on behalf of the renowned local breeding property 'LarnOO'. Bred on some of the most magnificent country the district has to offer, these steers lack for nothing. They are sired by high indexing Lawsons Angus and Rennylea sires these cattle are proven elite performing steers in both feedlot and grass fed operations.
These steers were yard weaned for approximately one week, and have since been running on irrigated river flat country and being supplemented silage and vetch hat and gaining up to 1.6kg per day.
These cattle have been weighed into an extremely tight weight range of 300kg to 315kg at time of assessment which makes them a very even line of cattle, and should continue to be that way through to finishing. The odd old pinkeye scarring was noted but considered not to be detrimental, also one steer was noted to have white under the belly.
