Light Fresh condition on good feed and dams showing plenty of milk. Low fat scores are more evidence of the Simmental breed.

None were aggressive at all but clearly look to rejoin the mob. Reluctant to stand quietly and exit briskly but stand quietly in the mob. I would expect run in smaller mobs and paddocks to further educate.

Dams were purchased in march 21 from the breeder Cluden Pastoral P/L at Taroom in Qld. These calves dropped at Cortina from a previous random Qld joining.
The cattle show the good frame and growth but lesser condition that simmentals are well known for.
They run to each other in both paddock and yards reflecting the limited handling and large numbers of Qld properties. All show good length and potential to grow on into heavy weights. Unfotunately only 11 steers but also note there are 13 heifers of the same breeding and potential.
