The mature Gunnong herd are quiet and easy to handle. These heifers were easy to work through yards however did look to rush between pens. Heifers settled in the time I was taking photos and with further handling should mature into quiet cattle.

Assessor Comments
An excellent quality line of Angus Cross heifers. The Gunnong Pastoral Company carefully select sires from predominately Dunoon & Bongongo Angus Studs with the Poll Hereford component coming from Wirruna Poll Herefords. They select bulls that are moderate for birth, High for 400 & 600 day growth and have sound confirmation. These heifers present the purchaser with an opportunity to breed or feed with heifers being ideal to join immediately to the bull of your choice or feed on to suit your desired markets. The Gunnong Pastoral Company cattle are sort by all major feedlots in NSW and known for there performance. Small percentage of heifers with warts & old blue eye/pinkeye scarring.
