These steers were a pleasure to handle & assess. the majority were very quiet heading towards docile. 2 or 3 steers were more free moving and more comfortable at the back of the mob. These same steers were restless and jumpy on the scales, but never a problem to handle.

33 smart Angus & black baldy steers. Locally bred by the Chaston family who have a Wirruna poll hereford blood base herd with Tabletop and Rennylea bulls used as the herd transitions to and Angus & black baldy cow base. These steers are well grown and have performed very well for the Porter's. They have never had a bad day and have matured very well into steers ready for a feedlot or to be backgrounded further for grass finishing. Honest no fuss steers that have plenty left in them for their next owner. Highly recommended.
