Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Very sensible steers to handle in the yards. easy to work with and draft with minimal flight reaction. When let in the adjoining holding yard for photo's, steers were more reactive & inclined to move away given they had room and freedom to do so. Only about 5 steers were unsettled in the crush and were rushing back and forth. Otherwise all other steers stood calmly and exited at a walk . See video.

Assessor Comments
Opportunity for someone to do a fast Spring turn around on some Feeder entry weight Steers, or to take through to next year as Exports. These are large framed steers that will finish easily. Deep in the girth, but not lacking stretch, everyone of these steers would go on to make a Bullock. Assessed for soundness in the feet and legs. 2 Steers showing a light blue tinge in one eye. (None detrimental - See Photo) Steers are due for a drench but any with large clods of manure on their tail were cleaned up during assessment. 3 Steers seen with very small warts present on the brisket and behind the ear, no larger than a 10c piece. Steers were weighed and assessed 10 days prior to auction and have been doing 2kg/day average. Note: There is 1 Steer in the mob with a white cloudy eye with the option to leave him out.
