The lead of these heifers at 10 months old are quite possibly self weaned, however as a mob they are still on the cows. On running through the yards, the heifers were surprisingly settled with a big long race and two strangers with them, and were pretty quick to settle on the scale bar one or two. Given that they are unweaned, normal quiet weaning practices should be followed on introduction to a new home, one or two heifers at photo time wanted to trot back to their mother's end of the yard.

Assessor Comments
A well framed forward conditioned lot of heifers, suited to growing on as breeders, or fattening on grass or hard feed. There are some stronger muscled cattle amongst them that would make great heavy trade heifers. The cows the heifers are out of are different breeds (as shown in the photos), but have all done a great job, and stood quietly outside the yards. The vendor is also offering 16 steers in the same sale, giving the opportunity to put 34 good young cattle together with plenty of scope.
