Nothing out of the ordinary here. Generally a typical line of Bos cross weaner calves drafted off the cows. Odd calf had a bit of run about it. No one was climbing the walls. Generally pretty good to handle - like all weaners (and children) will just require education

Assessor Comments
A good line of Bos cross mixed sex weaners. Some excellent blocky calves throughout. Plenty of frame, scale and muscling on display. As can be clearly seen in the photos and video these calves are from quite a mixed breed herd of cows purchased ex Winton and South Charters Towers last year. Calves were all born at Breadalbane throughout mid November to end December and consequently carry the vendors breeder NLIS tag. Calves really do present well. Are in fresh to forward condition and "on the do" enjoying the excellent season currently being experienced in the states south. Calves were separately tagged and returned to their dams and will be weaned onto trucks at delivery. We have kept the mixed sexes together to give an adequate truck / lot size and kept the loading density at a conservative level for safety in travel. A good opportunity to secure some low cost weaners that have the weight and frame to power on through this amazing autumn / winter we have before us.
