Excellent cattle to handle, a credit to the vendors strict temperament standards. One beast stirred up slightly during weighing but otherwise they were an absolute pleasure to assess and work with

An excellent line of 1 mark Black (7) & Black baldy (19) steers. These top of the drop steers are very well grown and are displaying great weight for age. They are steers with great bone, and softness. The Chaston Pastoral steers were great to handle and are a testament to the vendors selection criteria for growth, muscle and temperament. These steers were weighed out from 363 to 478kg. Steers that would suit either a pasture fed bullock operation or feedlot operation. The Chaston cattle have a great reputation for their excellent temperament and doing ability. The vendors have individually tracked 15% of the mob with specific weight gain over 35 days leading up to assessment, giving an accurate average weight gain of 1.87Kg per day (or 65Kg). Highly Recommended. Grass Fed & No Antibiotics *Note the vendor has 3 other lots of steers (108 total), and one small lot of 10 heifers in this sale*
