Temperament not assessed in Paddock
All the heifers were generally easy to handle in the yard & weigh through the crush at assessment - it was noted 1 heifer did become nervous/agitated/slightly stirry when isolated/under pressure in the race but settled down ok when let back out with the other cattle - As a mob all together in the yard they displayed sound/quiet temperament

Assessor Comments
12 AA/Friesian & AA/Friesian Cross F1/XB heifers - Vendor bred & bucket reared - Mixed ages, rising approx. 8-12 months - Majority well handled with quiet temperament - Presenting in strong store condition with medium to large frame - NSM, no access to bulls on farm - Sound potential to grow out to preferred joining weight to put with a bull of choice for future breeders/vealer mothers - Alternatively, these heifers could suit to put away/background for a select grass fed domestic/export fattening program or feeder market subject to required specs - Purchase with confidence as this a neat line of mixed age black F1 heifer calves/yearlings with potential to go numerous directions with - They will go ahead as they continue to grow/mature given feed - NOTE 1 heifer was observed to have a slight blue cloudy/old pink eye scar in 1 eye, not considered detrimental - This lot size/number may also suit a smaller hobby farm type operation or a lower budget $$ P/H buyer
