Exceptional draft of weaned Angus steers 9-10 mth by Te Mania sires (23 by AI sires). These steers come from a large frame, high class Angus herd that has decades of leading Angus studs genetics infused into them. The last 4 years has seen a gradual shift to using AI sires with outstanding success. These cattle have weight without excessive fat cover and great frame to grow into, while being backed up with a comprehensive animal health program. Calves post weaning were grazing a millet and brassica crop with gains of 1kg p/day, now back to 600gm on hay and silage. A class line of steers for discerning buyers. Grass fed, Antibiotic free. 6 observed with white on eye, 2 with very light infestation warts.
