Assessor Comments
This is a very good draft of breeder EU Angus Heifers. There were Pregnancy Tested Empty on 15th September by Mike Warner, Kingston Vetinary Clinic. Free martins have been removed, ensuring that these heifers should all be sound for breeding purposes. They would suit a restocker looking for heifers to join, or they are also perfectly suited to feed on in a feedlot or for a grass fed program. They are bred out of the renowned Nareen Station cow herd which was originally Hereford based. Top end Weeran and Stoney Point Angus bulls have been purchased and used extensively within the herd over the last 20 years with heavy selection for traits of Birth Weight, 600 day growth, Milk, Fat and EMA. These heifers have excellent depth and shape and will grow out to be very big, solid and heavy cows if given the opportunity.
