Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Having been paddock weaned, and not excessively handled since weaning, these heifers, although showed no signs of aggression did become nervous and were apprehensive when handled as a mob in a large pen. Heifers did calm down while being handled calmly during the assessment process, and the assessor believes that with continuous and proper handling their temperament will improve.

Assessor Comments
Front paddock cattle. Outstanding opportunity to secure 35 first class Angus heifers. The Warragai herd have been using exclusively Team Temania genetics for nearly twenty years. Heifers show tremendous growth & weight for age and tick all the boxes to go on to make top quality future females. These cattle have a proven performance history, with previous calves from the herd going into custom grainfed programs for the domestic high end beef market, achieving outstanding results both for carcase attributes and weight gain performance. Sires used include N747, N1432 & P936. Sire selection shows a strong selection for structure, growth and carcase attributes, particularly IMF with all sires showing +2.4 to +3.8 for IMF EBVs. These heifers are tops of the drop, with no heifers retained, and a near 30% tail removed. A great addition to any herd. 1 heifer showed ringworm spot above eye. 1 heifer has white marking under belly to navel. Payment terms offered to approved buyers.
