Calves seem to have settled down well during the weaning process. Odd steer wanted to burrow and push through the race or was unsettled in the crush. Handle well in a larger yard but will want to rush through gateways but are easy to block up or slow down.

Assessor Comments
Very good quality, EU accredited Angus steers which repesent the top of the drop of the Wando Estate 2020 steers. They are very even, all weighing 250kg+, into a tight weight range of 251-335kg to average 272kg full at assessment. From a high performing commercial herd, Wando Estate always purchase high indexing Barwidgee Angus bulls with the steers always being highly sort after by major feedlots. These are ideal steers to be backgrounded onto heavy feeder weights or grown out to kill weights. They are bunk trained and currently being fed in confinement and will be up until delivery - diet can be modified by the successful purchaser after the sale until delivery. Please also note; vendor also has 66 PTIC cows in todays Eastern States Cattle sale.
