Yard weaned steers that flowed through the draft and weigh process with a very odd steer getting agitated in the draft yard and the weigh platform. Generally they were good to handle as they have been in previous years, and will continue to settle with further handling.

Annual draft of the Reynolds family Delhi Downs bred Spring drop Angus steers 7-8 moths, bred from large framed big barreled cows with decades of Glenruben Angus bloodlines behind them. This lot is the second draft of the steers which are yard weaned and race trained, and are recommended as noted performers over many decades. Weaned first week of March, these boys present in fresh store condition and are ready to explode once shown some favourable feed conditions. PCAS Grass Assured Declaration available on request to the successful purchaser. Eyes inspected in the crush at assessment with two eyes showing a small mark from an old pinkeye scar. Note that tail end steers were removed at assessment. Steers have been treated with Bovishield MH-One with batch numbers available to successful purchaser on request. Vendor has another draft of 51 steers also available in this auction.
