Weaners handle well given that they have not been handled much in their lifetime. When pressured they did want to rush and some got worked up. With more handling these weaners would settle down well.

Assessor Comments
This line of Heifers are bred to perform. All of the Dwyer cattle exhibit great structure, heavy bone, plenty of length and eye appeal. The cows that these heifers are bred from are classed breeders. The Alpine Charolais sires used are proven for early growth, perfect udders and feet with plenty of eye appeal. In usual circumstances the Dwyer cattle are taken out to supermarket weights with ease and always grade highly in the MSA index or the heifer portion are classed and retained as breeders. These heifers are well grown for their age and were very fresh and sappy at weaning. However, since then the wet, cold weather and the short green pick the weaners have been chasing have caused them to slip a little. This shows a great opportunity of hard to come by frame to fill. These cattle will not disappoint with top class breeding on their side and are ready to bounce forward on crop or feed to go on to be excellent quality breeders or grow out to feeder, supermarket or export weights.

Vendor Comments
A line of weaners we would usually keep on to retain as breeders or sell as heavier feedlot or supermarket weights. With extra breeders on hand currently about to calve these are being sold to make room for the next drop.
