Laurel Vale cattle are generally quiet with a strong emphasis on culling anything with attitude . A pleasure to work through yards, odd calf gets a bit stirry with confinement but generally good to handle. Weaned for a week when assessed and expect they will be quieter again after futher handling in the next week or so.

Assessor Comments
Laurel Vale Steers present in healthy fresh condition, having been yard weaned since the 25/07 onto ad lib, good quality Vetch and Barley hay. Steers will be tailed out of yards each day into holding paddocks to allow access to fresh green pick and native pasture and will be yarded each night again. Steers have good bone and structure to develop into nice feeder weight steers or take through to bullocks. Cattle have been well educated and flowed through the yards nicely with a heavy emphasis put on temperament at Laurel Vale. 80 Angus/DM Average 284kg Full at assessment 27 Black Baldies averaged 280kg Full at assessment Happy to split breeds and load/invoice separately if required by purchaser. Please note 2 Angus/Dm have white under bellies and the odd steer has slight rub on neck.
