Steers worked through the yards very well. Historically cattle handle very well but due to hand feeding this year they are even better. Approx 6 got a little stirred up in the crush but very quickly settled after leaving the crush

A quality line of 131 Angus Steers. Steers are very even with a 10% tail removed prior to assessment. Steers are of a good type with good amount of frame to grow into. Steers are normally retained to grow out into heavy feeder steers which they do quite easily and will do again if given the opportunity. Steers are sired by Kidman and Outback Angus bulls. Only selling due to season tightening even further. At assessment steers had a weight range of 220-350kg to avg 260.2kg. Quality young steers you can buy with confidence. Vendor has 2 other lots of weaners in this sale, 56 Shorthorn Steers that avg 245kg & 64 Shorthorn Heifers that avg 228kg.
