Steers are very well handled in the paddock and in the yards. All worked well through a pound draft and up the race to the crush. Odd steer a little stirry but fine once back in the mob. Mainly handled with gyro and bikes in the paddock.

A 6 deck line of very good quality vendor bred Brahman steers from a vendor whose cattle have a reputation of doing very well as backgrounders/feedlotters or to fatten. Are well muscled, good boned and framed steers that are in good store condition and clean in the coat. Are presently on dry Mitchell grass country so will be ideally suited to go onto better feed. Have been mustered and drafted and in hand for 24 hours prior to assessment. Were compudosed in August 2021 with Compudose 400 Day, 12 steers were not compudosed in this line. 60 head of the older looking steers were mouthed to get all milk tooth as the vendor does not year/number brand. Approx. 30 steers exhibiting some horn regrowth or been tipped. 1 brand bar 3/4 steers being another family brand.
