Gilliland Livestock Marketing offers 32 unweaned Angus Santa cross heifers. Presenting in forward store condition to average 180kg at assessment, these heifers have been grazed on improved pastures at Rathdowney and still having access to their mothers. A very even line of well put together heifers that have a very quiet nature and worked very well through the yards on assessment. These heifers are sired by Mooroobie Angus bulls and out of a predominantly straight Santa female base. Upon assessment there was a small percentage of heifers with some white under belly and one heifer having some red tinge to her. In addition, some heifers had a small lump on their neck from only recently being vaccinated with 5 in 1. Overall, a very even, quiet draft of top quality heifers that will suit both breeding or feed lotting operations. Please note steer portion of this draft of weaners is also on offer in the same sale.
