Weaners were run straight in from the paddock, and weren’t given a cool off period, so they were a bit on their toes from the get go. None showing any aggressive behaviour, just typical of what you often see with the Limousin/Angus cross. All lead up the race well, a bit of pushing as they approached the crush. Settling again once they’d left & rejoined their brothers. These young weaners haven’t had a great deal of handling & will require some more education.

Assessor Comments
Thick, meaty young Weaners presenting in store condition, with a heap of bone but not too much leg underneath them. Cattle that will respond to feed, and pack on the weight without getting overly tall or leggy and taking too long to finish. These young steers are healthy & shiny in their coat and on the do, with a few bodies that could even head to the knife now.
Buyers please Note. Vendor has another lot in the same sale (The sisters), again, an ideal line of cattle to do a feeder job with, presenting the opportunity to put together 69 Euro x bodies to feed on.
