A quality line of 76 Lake Midgeon Angus weaner steers averaging 346kg full at assessment, ranging from 301–422kg. These steers are demonstrating excellent performance, currently averaging 1.03kg/day from 10/04/2026 to 13/05/2026. Steers are currently grazing a pasture mix of lucerne and ryegrass, while also having access to crushed barley through Advantage feeders, which has been available since weaning, with the same feeding program to continue through to delivery. These steers are bred from moderate framed, thick, well muscled cows, sired by top end Tattykeel Angus bulls, with Lake Midgeon focusing heavily on bulls with depth, thickness and shape. A quiet, easy to handle line in both the yards and paddock. These steers are only being offered due to feed supplies beginning to tighten. Previous Lake Midgeon steer consignments have been successfully purchased by Jindalee & Whyalla Beef.
